Florida Home Sales Trend and Tampa Bay Real Estate Search
The Florida Association of REALTORS reported on November 21, 2011 that the sale of existing homes and condominiums were up during the month of October 2011 compared to October 2010. Existing home sales in Florida showed a 13% increase over the previous years results and existing condo sales were up 12% from October 2010. Median home prices in Florida were also up over the previous year.
The sales increase of homes in Florida has been fueled by lower home prices, diminishing housing supply, very low interest rates, improvement in the employment outlook, and strong housing demand by foreign buyers.
